A week or so before the order to shelter in place went into effect in Los Angeles, Adonis Bosso felt the tug of home. The Ivorian-Canadian model who is from Montreal decided to self-isolate with his parents in Toronto where he has been living for the last few months. “I just felt like Canada was going to be the safest place right now,” he says. “Out here, people really stay at home.” The city has proven to be an ideal place to raise his one-year-old son Saphir whom he co-parents with the model Slick Woods. “Our main goal is to always make sure that he spends as much time as possible with the both of us,” says Bosso. “As soon as she has some downtime, she takes him. But male models, we don't work as often.”
